DANIEL CANCELS 50TH BIRTHDAY BASH TO EASE PRESSURE ON FANS

After much deliberation and with much regret, Daniel and his management have decided to cancel the show planned for the O2, Dublin in October. Daniel realised, from recent interaction he had with fans, that his loyal followers were struggling to cope with the effects of the worst recession in living memory. "The recession has hit everybody, I don't think there is anybody who hasn't been hurt by it. I've had letters for people saying how hard it is for them and they tell me they have to miss a show here and a show there as a result" Daniel reveals. He knew that because the 50th Birthday concert was to be a special event, that fans would go through hell & high water to get to it and he felt that it was unfair to put them to that expense. It's not just the price of the tickets, for the majority of fans who would want to attend the event, there would be transport and accommodation costs to be taken into account as well. Daniel is already committed to doing his summer tour of ireland in July, which, he hopes, will prove a better alternative for his fans.

TOUR DATES FOR 2012

All confirmed tour dates for 2012 will be available in the September issue of the Daniel magazine and are listed below.

AUSTRALIA 2012 TOUR DATES
Tickets will be on sale to fan club Members on Tuesday 11th October 2011 and will then go on sale to the general public on Monday 17th October 2011.

NEW ZEALAND 2012 TOUR DATES
Tickets will be on sale to fan club members on Tuesday 25th October 2011 and will then go on sale to the general public on Monday 31st October 2011.

CHANGE OF DATE FOR GLASGOW 2012

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to change the concert dates for Daniel in Glasgow next October.
Daniel will now play the Royal Concert Hall on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th October 2012 and not the 16th & 17th as originally announced.
The On sale date remains the same - Saturday 31st March 2012.

UK DATES: NOTE: Ticket restrictions are in force at all Daniel UK concerts. They vary considerably, so please ring the Box Office before going to queue for your tickets. Also some venues will have more than one point of sale and not all venues will open their phone lines at the same time as the box office opens to the public. Check with them also nearer the time in case of cancellations. If dialling from the UK to the Rep.Of Ireland the dialling code is 00-353, then drop the 0 at the beginning of the local code, eg: Dungloe 00-353-75-Number.
